Today was considered our Kampala free day to souvenir shop and roam around. A lot of us are still sick with jet lag, but it's getting better... Kampala is CRAZY!!! There is no law enforcement, no traffic lights, no stop signs, no four way stops... it's just swerve in and out until you make it somewhere. Most of the cars are mexi-packed with about 10 ugandans each. Even us, a team of 12 packed into a tiny van with 2 people in the very back trunk place. ha ha it's insane.
So many motorbike people hitting our car because people tail gate down to the inch. Definitely a fast paced town.
Also today we went to the craft market in Kampala. Trying to remember that a simple pair of earrings is 2,000 shillings, which is only 1 U.S. dollar. Just a different life. :)
But one thing that is amazing is that a lot of people love Jesus. It is so evident on their faces. All of the christian business owners have stores and restaurants called Praise the Lord Salon, and God is Good Restaurants. ha ha they are so fun. Everyone has a smile and loves to serve you or help you. No one has been mean or rude and everyone always asks how are you? You are beautiful? Come inside! Eat! Eat! Eat!
It is insulting to not eat their food, and relax in their home. Tonight we went to a small group outside Entebbe and the people were so welcoming. The lady who led the small group was Mary, and she told us that if we didn't eat that it is an insult. We have been engorged this whole trip. So much food, so much love. I can't wait for everything else we will experience and do here.
Well, I guess I should say that I am having the worst trouble with the whole picture download. It won't seem to download them at all. But that doesn't mean that I don't have amazing pictures to show you all when we get home. So, until then, Africa will be a surprise. :)

Andrea, I am sitting here with Alayna holding the bunnies. She can't wait for you to see them. They are adorable! I Can't even believe all that you are experiencing in Uganda. Hey! I miss ya! The whole car ride situation sounds like when we were at the coast and me and tim and lisa sat in the trunk of brads family's suburban... ha ha :) The picture download thing is sometimes really dumb... im not gonna lie... but if you have some extra time, you should be able to get it to work. you can upload 5 pics at a time and it usually takes 3-4 minutes for those to upload. just keep trying :) I cant wait to see pictures! Love ya!
